Z AN ORDINANCE AUMING SUCTION V AND SUB- DIVISION (e) OF SECTION VII OF ORDINANCCE NO. 494 OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH REGU- LATING THE STORAGE AND HANDLING OF GASO- LINE OR OTHER VOLATILES WITHIN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS- SIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT FFORTH: SECTION I That Section V of ordinance No. 494 of the revised ordinances of the City of Fort Worth be and the same is hereby smend9d so as to read as fol- lows, to-wit: SECTION V. All gasoline and other vola- tiles must be drawn from tank by means of an ap- proved pump or pumps which shall have an automatic check valve between the pump and the nozzle. SECTION II That sub-division (a) of Section VII of ordinance No. 494 of the revised ordinances of the City of Fort Worth be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows, to wit: SECTION VII - (a) When filling tanks are used for the storing or handling of gasoline or other volatiles, the containers must be of a oapaoity not to- exceed sixty gallons and must be of at least 3/16 inch steel and must be of ap- proved construction. The said portable shall be supported on all steel wheels not less than thirty (30) inches in diameter, wheels being equipped with rubber tires. The tank must be provided with an approved all metal pump, the same to be provided with a hose attachment. The hose must not exceed eight feet in length. The pump must be equipped with an approved ground key shut-off cook, where hose is attached to pump, also with approved ground key shut-oft cock at and of hose. Pump wast'bs equipped with a lock, and the same kept looked when not in use. SECTION III This ordinance is intended to repeal the sections above referred to and hereafter the said sections shall read and be in full force and ef- fect as amended, but it is not intended and does not amend or repeal any of the other provisions of the said ordinance No. 494. SECTION IV Any provision, section or part of a sec- tion of this ordinance which may be declared in- valid shall not have the effect of impairing the force of the other provisions of said ordinance. SECTION V Any person, firm, corporation or assooia- tion violating any of the provisions of thin ordi- nance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon oon- viotion thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $200.00.
