LOUIS, SAN FRANCISCO AND TEXAS RAILWAY COM- PANY THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT AND MAIN- TAIN A SPUR TRACK ON CERTAIN PROPER- TIES OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TAR- RANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth is desirous of having the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway Company construct and maintain a spur track to serve the City of Fort Worth and the J. M. C. Lynch and J. P. Montgomery Surveys in Fort Worth, Tar- rant County, Texas, said spur track being described as follows: Said proposed track is to lead out of track known as the "Camp Bowie Track" of the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway at a point 3464.7 feet southerly and southwesterly, measured along center line of said track from its connection with the main track of the Sh*r- man Subdivision of the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway, which connection is 386.6 feet southwesterly, measured along the center line of said main track, from its intersection with the north line of the J. M. C. Lynch Survey; thence to extend in a northwesterly direction, on the northerly side of said Camp Bowie track a distance of 1060 feet to the end. Of said proposed track, 201 feet will lie on present land or right of way of said railway, 80 feet within the limits of Burleson Street of the City of Fort Worth aforesaid, and the remaining 779 feet on right of way to be acquired; and, WHEREAS, said railway company has agreed to construct and maintain said spur track in consideration of the mutual benefits to said railway company and to said City of Fort Worth, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway Com- pany is granted an easement to construct and maintain said spur track above described over, along and upon the following described land: A certain strip or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. M. C. Lynch Survey and the J. P. Montgomery Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, the said strip of land being 20 feet in width, that is to say, 10 feet on each side of the center line of a proposed spur track, said center line being described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the south line of the J. M. C. Lynch Survey with the center line of the main Camp Bowie Track of the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway Company; thence northeasterly along said center. line 315.9 feet for a point of beginning; thence westerly and northwesterly curving to the right with a radius of 942.29 feet 772.6 feet; thence on tangent to last described curve 303.9 feet to the end, saving and excepting all right of way heretofore acquired and the part which lies with- in the limits of Burleson Street, said parcel of ground containing 0.358 acre more or less. SECTION 2. That said railway company is hereby granted the right to construct and maintain that portion of the above described spur track located and situated in and along Burleson btreet, said portion of said spur track being more particularly de- scribed as follows: Said proposed spur track is to extend in an easterly and westerly direction across Burle- son Street a distance of 80 feet more or less from a point in the east line of said street about 10 feet north of the intersection of the north line of Crestline Road with the west line of Burleson Street to a point in the west line of said Burleson Street, about 16 feet north of the intersection of the north line of Crestline Road with the west line of Burleson Street afore- said.
