AN ORDINANCE ALTERING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE '
CITY OF FORT WORTH SO AS TO EXCLUDE CERTAIN TER-
RITORY LYING WITHIN SAID CITY; PROVIDING FOR FUB-
LICATION .IN A DAILY N3iSPAPER IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XMII `OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFP' TIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
The boundary limits of the City of Fort Worth are hereby changed and
altered so as to exclude from said boundary limits the following terri-
tory situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and
bounds as fbllows:
A tract of land in the northwestern part of the J. C.
McCommas Survey, Abstract No. 1039, in Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas (this is the southern J. C. McCommas Survey
stated in Amendment No. XII and described in Section 12(b),
Official Ballet, as of December 17; 1946), and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the present city limit line of Fort Worth
in the north line of said southern J. C. McCommas Survey
(Abstract No. 1039) at the northeast corner of the E. L.
Baker 1.33 acre tract, said point being 2020 feet east of
the northwest corner of said McCommas Survey;
Thence douth with the east line of the E. L. Baker
Tract and the east line of The Texas Co. 27.5 acre tract
a distance of 868.5 feet to the southeast corner of said
Texas Co. Tract;
Thence south 89 degrees 12 minutes west along the
south line of said Texas Co. Tract 2038 feet to the present
city limit line, in the west line of said McCommas Survey,
in Sylvania Avenue;
Thence north along said city limit line and the west
line of said McCommas Survey 210 feet to the southeast right
of way line of the Texas & Pacific R. R.;
Thence north 46 degrees 19 minutes east along said
T. & P. R. R. right of way line, and continuing along the
present city limit line 981 feet to the north line of said
McCommas Survey;
Thence east along the north line of said McCommas Sur-
vey, and continuing along the present city limit line 1330
feet to the place of beginning, containing approximately
35.56 acres.
Note - The F. M. Barney 6.72 acre tract and the E. L.
Baker 1.33 acre tract, which are north of The Texas Co.
Tract (between The Texas Co. Tract and the city limit line),
are included in the above description.

SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter %%VIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef—
fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication, as aforesaid, and it is so
ordained.
