AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEX-
ING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTS; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED
IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION.40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE
CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning at a pipe which stands 1,343.53 feet north
and 8.3 feet west of the southeast corner of the J. B.
Martin Survey;
Thence north 0 degrees 27 minutes east, parallel with
the east line of the said Martin Survey, 208.72 feet to a
pipe;
Thence north 89 degrees 03 minutes west 978.52 feet to
a stake;
Thence south 1 degree 45 minutes west 208.72 feet to a
point for corner;
Thence south 89 degrees 03 minutes east 983.22 feet to
the place of beginning, containing approximately 5 acres of
land.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth
, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef-
fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30)
days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
