Honorable Mayor and Re: Ordinance for closing Reed
" Members of the City Council Street, Quail Trail and an
City of Fort Worth unnamed street in Handley
Heights South Addition
Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen:
A recommednation for the closing of Reed Street, Quail Trail and an ud-
named street in Handley Hel fits South,Addition was submitted to the City
Council on November 20, 1951. The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4204
for the closing of subject Streets.
It has been disclosed thpt the legal descriptions of subject streets leaves
a question as to the exact limits of the streets tb be closed. The Legal
Department has prepared an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4204 based on
a description prepared by a registered surveyor, engaged by the abutting
property owner, and approved by the Public Works Department.
It is recommended that an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4204 for the
closing of portions of Reed Street, Quail Trail and an unnamed street be
adopted.
Respectfully submitted,
