GREER' TRUSTEES OF MAGNOLIA PETROLEUM COD"PANY0 AN UN- INCORPORATED JOINT STOCK ASSOCIATION, AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE BUILDING OF A 11IPE LINE IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, UNDER THE FRANCHISE GRANTS HERETOFORE GIVEN TO SAID TRUS- TEES OF SAID COYTANY; SAID FRANCHISE GRANTS BEING CONTAINED WITHIN ORDINANC- ES 417, 433, 440, 461, ALL OF RECORD ON THE MINUTES OF THIS BOARD OF COASIIS- SIONERS, AND PROVIDING THAT THE FAILURE TO LAY AND CONSTRUCT SAID LINE WITHIN TWO YEARS FROM THE ACCEPTANCE OF SAID ORIGINAL FRANCHISE GRANT SHALL NOT WORK A FORFEITURE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE J30ARD OF COYJAISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: _ That John Sealy, E. R Brown, George C. Greer, E. E. Plumley and R. Waveriey Smith, Trustees of Magnolia Petroleum CompaiV, the survivor or sur- vivors of them, their sluccessors and assigns, are hereby granted an extension of time within which to lay and construct the following described pipe line within the City of Fort Worth to-wit: BEGINNING in North Second StAet ' at a point therein where a connection can be made with the pipe line crossing same in Jones Street, said pipe line in Jones Street having heretofore been con- strueted by said Magnolia Petroleum Company under franchise granted in Or- dinances Nos. 417, 433, 440 and 462; THENCkE West along North Second Street to the right-of-way of the`St. Louis & S¢uthwestern Railway in Bridge Street; THENCE South along Bridge St., to Burnett Street; THENCE South along Burnett st., to where said Burnett Street intersects the North line of West Weatherford Street; so that instead of being required to lay and construct said pipe line above described at this time, and with- in two years from the date of the acceptance of said franchise, as was and is specified in Section 7 of said Ordinance No. 417, it, the said Magnolia Petrol- eum 'Company, shall only be required and obligated to lay same when, after a hearing by the Board of.Com•- missioners of the City of Fort Worth, it is ordered by said Board to so do. 2. II A failure to lay and construct said pipe line within two years from the date of the accept- ance of said franchise shall not operate or work a forfeiture of said franchise. s III A refusal to lay and construct said pipe line when ordered to so do by the Board of Commissioners, as aforesaid, shall work a forfeiture of said franchise. IV That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage, subject to its being published for five days immediately, after the passage thereof, in the Fort Worth Record, the present official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth.
