Crime statistics -- broken out by Council District -- are also included. There were four murders reported during February 2008 as compared to zero during February 2007; all four cases were cleared as well as one from July 2007. Seven murders have been reported during January and February 2008 compared to five during the same time period in 2007, Twenty-two forcible rape incidents occurred in February 2008 while 17 forcible rapes occurred in February 2007; a 29% increase. The Police Department in partnership with the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) issued the community-based program request for proposals (RFP) for-FY 2009. This RFP is intended to invite non- profit agencies in Fort Worth to apply for funds to support one • more of the following CCPD goals: I.
