ORDINANCE NO. CITY SECRETARY
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF PARK HILL FT. WORTH, TEX.
DRIVE ADJOINING THE NORTH SIDE OF LOT 20, BLOCK 8,
FRISCO RAILROAD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND
CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described portion of Park Hill Drive,
being a 15.3 foot strip of land adjoining the north side of
Lot 20, Block 8, Frisco Railroad Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed,
abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thorough-
fare of any kind or character whatever, save and except that
easements are reserved for any and all existing utilities, in-
cluding a 10-foot wide easement for an existing sanitary sewer
located ten feet north of and parallel to the north line of
said Lot 20, the center line of said 10-foot easement to be
collinear with the center line of said existing sanitary sewer,
and including also an existing pole line used by the Telephone
and Electric Companies in serving power to the area, the por-
tion of said Park Hill Drive hereby closed being described as
follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 20, Block
8, Frisco Railroad Addition to the City of Fort Worth,
Tarrant County, Texas, said point being in the east
right of way line of McCart Street;
Thence east along the north line of said Lot 20 a
distance of 125 feet to the northeast corner of said
lot;
Thence north a distance of 15.3 feet along a
straight line to a point for corner;
Thence west along a line parallel to and 15.3
feet north of the north line of said Lot 20 a dis-
tance of 125 feet to the east right of way line of
McCart Street;
Thence south to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to
the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert to
the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.

closing by ordinance of a 15.31 wide strip of Park Hill Drive (formerly
Ramsey Ave.) adjoining the north line of Lot 20, Block 8, Frisco Railroad
Addition. The City executed a quitclaim deed abandoning the property in
July, 1924; however, in order to clear title to the property, the title
insurance company requires that it be closed by ordinance.
All interested parties, including private and municipal utility companies,
have been contacted, and offer no objections to the proposed closing pro-
viding easements are retained for existing utility lines now located within,
the strip. The land will not be needed in connection with the proposed
improvements to McCart and Forest Park Boulevard.
It is recommended that an ordinancelbe adopted closing the portion of Park
Hill Drive shown on, the attached plat.
