An Ordinance providing for the payment of a reward, by the City of
Fort Worth, for the arrest and final conviction of any person committ-
. ing arson within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth, and
_pTtviding $or the posting of proper notices of such reward.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
that,
Section 1: The City of Fort Worth shall pay the sum of One Dollar
for each one hundred population of the City of Fort Worth, as shown by
the last proceeding United States census, to any person who shall cause
the arrest and final conviction of any person or persons guilty of arson
within the City limits of the City of Fort Worms:. k
Section 2. That no officer, agent, servant or employe of the City
of Fort Worth, shah ever be entitled to receive or collect from the City
of Fort Worth any part of the foregoing Tel&-P4-
Section 3: That suitable placards sha'.1 be posted and kept posted in
all public buildings in the City of Fort Worth, showing that such reward
is offerred, by whom and the amount thereof.
Section 4: That any person tearing down destroying or mutilating any

such placArd when posted, as provided by this Ordinance, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction be fined in any sum not ex-
ceeding $25.00.
Section b: This Ordinance -shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and publication.
