AN ORDIlNANCE PROVIDING THAT THAT PORTION OF HAMPTON STREET B , EN THE SOUTH LINE OF EAST THIRD STREET AND THE NORTH LINE OF EAST FOURTH STREET BE ABANDONED CLOSED AND VACATED AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCtS OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERMITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE IIU:Hi,'DIITE- LY EFFECTIVE. WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, that that portion of Hampton Street between the south line of East Third Street and the north line of East Fourth Street, lying and being situated between Blocks 27 & 289 Moore-Thornton Company's Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, has been closed for many years and has never been used as a public street or thoroughfare, and that the street is only dedi- cated to a width of 50 feet, and that it is to the best in- terest of the public that said street be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MRTH: SECTION I. That that portion of Hampton Street between the south line of East Third Street and the north ldne of Last Fourth Street lying and being situated between Blocks 27 & 28, Moore Thornton Company's Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character. SECTION II. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION Ill.
