AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE FOLLOWING THOROUGHFARES BE
VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED: SYCAMORE STREET FROM CLEMENT
STREET NORTH TO SYCAMORE CREEK; THE ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 21 AND
6, McCURDY'S ADDITION; McCURDY STREET FROM A POINT IN THE
SOUTH LINE OF LOT 4, BLOCK "C," OF CARL'S COURT ADDITION,
NORTH TO THE END; PORTER STREET FROM THE NORTH LINE OF TUCKER
STREET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 55, GLENWOOD ADDITION; THE
ALLEYS IN BLOCKS "E," "F" AND "G" IN CARL'S COURT ADDITION;
THE UNNAMED COURT LYING NORTH OF BLOCK 2, HOLLYWOOD ADDITION,
AND WEST OF PORTER STREET; AND EAST TUCKER STREET FROM THE
EAST LINE OF PORTER STREET TO THE WEST LINE OF SYCAMORE STREET;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described lots, tracts and parcels of land be and
the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as streets,
alleys or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever:
1. Sycamore Street from Clement Street north to Sycamore Creek.
2. The alleys in Blocks 21 and 6, McCurdy's Addition.
3. McCurdy Street from a point in the south line of Lot 4,
Block "C," of Carl's Court Addition, north to the end.
4. Porter Street from the north line of Tucker Street to the
south line of Lot 55, Glenwood Addition.
5. The alleys in Blocks "E," "F" and "G" in Carl's Court Ad-
dition.
6. The unnamed court lying north of Block 2, Hollywood Addition,
and west of Porter Street.
7. East Tucker Street from the east line of Porter Street to
the west line of Sycamore Street.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in all of the aforesaid lots, tracts and par-
cels of land is:hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved for any and all
existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
