FT. W'OR'I1, I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOR L. Section 1. That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about 7 1j2 miles northwest from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in the S. Townsend Survey and being more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the south line of the S. Townsend Survey, said point being the northeast corner of the G. R. Williams tract and the southeast corner of a tract acquired from J. H. McNaz as such tracts are referred to in the corporate boundary description of the City of Fort Worth, as contained in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950; THENCE east, along the south line of the S. Townsend Survey, to a point 1000 feet west from the west line of the Wm. Dean Survey; THENCE north, along a line parallel to and 1000 feet west from the west line of the Wm. Dean Survey, to its intersection with the north line of the S. Townsend Survey; THENCE west, along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the north line of the S. Townsend Survey, to its intersection with the City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth as said line is des- cribed in the corporate boundary description of the City of Fort Worth in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950; THENCE southerly, aong the City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, with its meanders, as said line is described in the corporate boundary description of the City of Fort Worth in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950, to the place of beginning and containing approximately .219 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 4777, heretofore adopted and passed on June 3, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordi- nance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative. Section 3. If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the portion so held to be invlaid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. This ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be entered as an order on the minutes and permanent records of the City of Fort Worth, from and after the date of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the City of Fort Worth. Section 5. That this Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, and it is so ordained. Passed and adopted this .r day of r�. , 1963.
