AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A
DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF' SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Being a part of the R. Bissett and J. Kinder Survey in
Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line at the southwest corner of'Lot 1, Block S,
Sunset Acres Addition;
Thence north along the present city limit line to a point
in the west line of Block P, Sunset Acres Addition; -
Thence in an easterly direction along the present city
limit line to a point in the center of the West Fork of the
Trinity River;
Thence down said river along the present city limit line
to a point where the south line of Block S, Sunset Acres Addi-
tion, produced east would intersect;
Thence west to the southeast corner of Lot 13, Block S,
Sunset Acres Addition, and continuing west along the south
line of said Block S to the place of beginning, and containing
approximately 26 acres of land.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth
Star-Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in
accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City
Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or-
dained.
