AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT 18TH STREET FROM THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF THE TEXAS AND PACIFIC RAILROAD TO THE WEST LINE OF TERRY STREET BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That 18th Street, in Daggett's Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the east right of way line of the Texas and Pacific Railroad to the west line of Terry Street, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef- fect from and after the date of its passage.
