AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE NORTH- SOUTH EASEMENT ACROSS LOT 1, BLOCK 27-R, CHAMBERLIN-ARLINGTON HEIGHTS SECOND FILING, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM HULEN STREET SOUTH TO FLETCHER AVENUE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE RE- VERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the north-south easement across Lot 1, Block 27-R, Chamberlin-Arlington Heights Second Filing, an addi- tion to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from Hulen Street south to Fletcher Avenue, be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as a utility easement. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said easement above described is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. S T4:�EILi WILKE,, DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Vacation of Easement Across Lot PAGE NUMBER 1, Block 27-R Chamberlin-Arling- 1 REEo 2/21/72 i of PZ-485 ton Heights (V-71-60) RODINSO Hulen Development Corp. , owner of all adjoining property, has requested that the City vacate a north-south easement across Lot 1, Block 27-R, Chamberlin- Arlington Heights Second Filing, a width of 10 ft. and a length of 190 ft. from Hulen Street south to Fletcher Avenue as shown on the attached map. Subject easement, acquired by dedication, contains an existing electric main- line feeder facility. There are no other utility facilities located therein. Texas Electric Service Company advises by letter dated February 4, 1972, that they approve of this request since the .Applicant has granted them a separate instrument covering their easement requirements. City Departments and all other utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating the easement as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
