AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE TEN FOOT
UTILITY EASEMENT CROSSING LOTS 1 THROUGH 4,
BLOCK 146-R, CHAMBERLIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS AD-
DITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described easement be and the same
is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently aban-
doned as an easement for public utilities:
An easement crossing Lots 1 through 4, Block
146-R, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition,
a width of 10 feet and a length of 233 feet,
extending from the west line of Lot 4 eastward
to Merrick Street and located 45 feet north of
and parallel to the south lines of said Lots 1
through 4.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by laws save and except, easements are reserved for any and all
existing utilities. SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Gordon S. Swift has submitted a request on behalf of Lynn Grant, owner of Lots
VALKES LAR^1 through 4, that the City vacate an easement crossing Lots 1 through 4, Black
146-R, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, a width of 10 feet and a length
�,1 v of 233 feet from the west line of Lot 4 eastward to Merrick Street, and located
1JJ 45 feet north of and parallel to the south lines of Lots 1 through 4, as shown
on the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, is not in use.
Other easements intersect the subject easement and should not be disturbed by
this vacation, if approved.
The reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objections
to this requested vacation provided other existing easements remain intact. A
satisfactory replat has been submitted to the City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of
an ordinance vacating the public easement as requested.
Recommendation:
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as
recommended by the City Plan Commission.
