AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THE PUBLIC EASEMENTS, STREETS, ALLEYS, PUBLIC
THOROUGHFARES, AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY LYING WITHIN
BLOCKS 2 AND 3 AND PORTIONS OF BLOCKS 1, 4, 5
AND 6, HILLANDALE ADDITION AND A PORTION OF
BLOCKS 5 AND 23, AND LOTS 6 THROUGH 8, BLOCK
24, FRISCO RAILROAD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IM-
MEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the public easements, streets, alleys, public
thoroughfares, drainage ways, utility easements and rights-
of-way lying in, through, upon, across and within the here-
inafter described properties:
All utility easements on Blocks 1 through 6,
Hillandale Addition, except that portion of
sanitary sewer easement on Lots 4 and 5, Block
6, Hillandale Addition, not being vacated by
replat (Park Ridge Addition, Block 1) and the
anchor easement on Lot 1, Block 6, Hillandale Addition.
Drainage easements: 20' in width along the north-
east line of Lot 13 adjacent to Lot 12, Block 1;
20' in width collinear with the common lot line
of Lots 13 and 14, Block 6; 20' in width collinear
with the common lot line of Lots 3 and 4, Block 5;
20' in width across Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 5
from the alley to Livingston Avenue; 20' in width
collinear with the common lot line of Lots 2 and 3,
Block 4, all in Hillandale Addition.
A 15' wide alley adjacent to the east lines of Lots
18 through 20 and the north 45' of Lot 17, Block 5,
Frisco Railroad Addition; a 20' wide alley adjacent
to Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 6, Hillandale Addition;
a 15' wide alley along the east line of Lot 5 and
the north 35 ' of Lot 4, Block 6, Hillandale Addition;
a 15' wide alley along the east line of Lots 2, 3, 4,
6 and the north 50' of Lot 1, Block 5, Hillandale
Addition; and a 15' wide alley along the east line
of Lots 2, 3, 4 and 6 and the north 35' of Lot 1,
Block 4, Hillandale Addition.
Vacate the following streets:
Stanley Avenue 50' in width in the 2500 block from
the north line of Blocks 2 and 3, Hillandale Addition,
south to W. Robert Street;
Stanley Avenue 50' in width in the 2600 block from
Livingston Avenue to the south line of Lot 7, Block
23, Frisco Railroad Addition;
Livingston Avenue 50' in width in the 2600 block from
West Robert Street south to a point 15' north of the
south line of Lot 1, Block 4, Hillandale Addition;
Warner Road in the 2500 block 50' in width from the
north line of Blocks 1 and 2, Hillandale Addition,
south to W. Robert Street;
Gordon Avenue 50' in width in the 2600 block from
W. Robert Street south to a point 20' south of the
south line of Lot 3, Block 5, Hillandale Addition;
W. Robert Street 50' in width in the 1900 and
2000 blocks from Stanley Avenue westward to the
west lines of Lot 12, Block 1 and Lot 7, Block 6,
Hillandale Addition;
Townsend Drive 50' in width in the 2500 block
from the west line of Lot 12, Block 1, and Lot 7,
Block 6, south a distance of 80' to a point 15'
north of the south line of Lot 14, Block 1,
Hillandale Addition.
be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently
vacated as public easements, streets, alleys, public thoro-
ughfares, drainage ways, utility easements and rights-of-way
of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described public
easements, streets, alleys, public thoroughfares, drainage
ways, utility easements and rights-of-way located in the
hereinabove described real property are hereby released and
will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE
and EXCEPT that easements are reserved for any and all ex-
isting utilities.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

Avenue (V-75-39) Proposed Park Ridge Addition
National Old Line Insurance Company, owner of all abutting property
of Blocks 2 and 3 and portions of Blocks 1, 4, 5 & 6, Hillandale
Addition; portion of Blocks 5, 23 and Lots 6 thru 8, Block 24, Frisco
Railroad Addition, has requested that the City vacate streets, alleys
and easements therein as shown on the attached maps (V-75-39A thru
V-75-39D - Exhibits A, B, C & D).
Subjects rights-of-way, acquired by dedication, are neither paved
nor open.
The rights-of-way also contain water, sanitary sewer, electric and
telephone facilities for which easements are requested to be re-
tained. The reviewing City departments and private utility companies
have no objections to this request provided the vacated rights-of-way
are replatted with the adjoining property and easements are provided
as necessary to protect the existing public facilities and natural
drainageways.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recogmends
that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way as
requested. A satisfactory replat has been submitted to SVaff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance beadopted vacating subject right-
of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
