AN CRDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH!-
PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NZWS-
PAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER;
AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Being a tract of land out of the Wm. J. Baker Survey,
just east of Meadowbrook Golf Course, Tarrant County,
Texas, and being more fully described by metes and bounds
as follows, to wit:
Beginning at an axle in the south line of the said Baker
Survey, at a point that is 1854-8/10 feet east of the
southwest corner of said survey, said corner being the
southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Meadowbrook
Country Club by C. A. Boaz by deed recorded in Vol. 923,
page 2, Tarrant County Deed Records;
Thence north 38 degrees 07 minutes west 443-0/10 feet;
Thence north 3 degrees 30 minutes west 400-0/10 feet;
Thence north 12 degrees 30 minutes east 275-0/10 feet;
Thence north 53 degrees 20 minutes east 50-0/10 feet to
a point in the center line of Weiler Boulevard.;
Thence with the center line of said. Weiler Boulevard.
south 34 degrees 30 minutes east 290-6/10 feet and south
47 degrees 0 minutes east 13-0/10 feet;
Thence south 87 degrees 46 minutes east 2221-9/10 feet;
Thence south 1 degree 15 minutes west 754-3/10 feet to
a point in the south line of said Baker Survey;
Thence with the south line of Baker Survey north 87
degrees 46 minutes west 1101-2/10 feet and west 1079-9/10
feet to the point of beginning, and containing 43-3/10
acres of land more or less.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Star-
Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ac-
cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City
Charter.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30)
days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
