On February 11, 1963, the Council approved the sale of 304 St. Louis, the east
100 feet of the south 46 feet of Lot 9, Block 2, Smith, Jones and Daggett Addi-
tion, and all improvements thereon to Harry E. Whitely for $4,252.
This sale is pursuant to Council action on April 9, 1962, wherein the Council
authorized the sale of the property and stated its intentions to permit the
present encroachment of the improvements (located 2.8 feet in the public alley
south of the improvements) to remain in its present location so long as the
building is used for its present use.
In order to complete this transaction, it is recommended that the Council adopt
an ordinance granting permission for the improvements at 304 St. Louis located
on the east 100 feet of the south 46 feet of Lot 9, Block 2, Smith, Jones and
Daggett Addition, to remain in their present location and extend 2.8 feet into
the public alley so long as the improvements are used as they are presently.
