DAILY ir`EWSPAPE<i PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH; PRESCRIBING A.. SAVINGS CLAUSE AND SPECIFYING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF FOIST WORTH, TEAS: Section 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land north of the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and being more fully described as follows: 3BGINNING at a point in the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the west right-of-way line of Alta Vista Road (County Road NO . 3070) in the north line of the J. C. McComas Survey North; THENCE northe-,ly along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the westerly right-of-way lines of County Road No. 3070, 3053, and 4053 to a point 50 feet north of the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4022; THENCE easterly along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4022, the present City Limit Line of Haltom City, to a Point 50 feet west of the west line of the D. L. Hall Survey; T'r-NCE north along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet west of and parallel to the west line of the D. L. Hall Survey, the present City Limit Line of Watauga, and 50 feet west of and parallel to the west line of the Wm. Evans Survey, to a point 50 feet north of the north line of the D. L. :all Survey produced west; THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet north of and parallel to the north line of the D. L. hall Survey produced west and the D. L. Hall Survey, the present City Limit Line of Watauga, to a point 50 feet west of the westerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No- 377; THENCE northeasterly along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet west and parallel to the westerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No- 377, to a point 50 feet south of the south right-of- way line of County Road No. 4o46; THENCE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of and parallel to the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4046, to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of County Road No. 4066; THENCE south along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the east right-of-way line of County Road No. 4066, to a point 50 feet south of the north line of the W. Converse Survey produced east; THENCE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of and parallel to the north line of the W. Converse Survey produced east and 50 feet south of and parallel to the north line of the W. Converse Survey, and 50 feet south of and parallel to the north line of the W. Converse Survey produced west to a point 50 feet west of the west line of the W. Converse Survey; THENCE north along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet west of and parallel to the east line of the Wm. M. Bostick Survey, to a point 50 feet south of the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4053; THENCE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of and parallel to the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4053 and said. right-of-way line produced west, to a point 150 feet west of the east right-of-way line of County Road No.4053i THENCE north, east, north, east, and north along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 150 feet west, north, west, north, and west of and parallel to the east, south, east, south, and east right- of-way lines of County Road No. 4053, with its meanders, to a point 50 feet south of the south right-of-way line of County road No. 4033; THENCE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of and parallel to the south right-of-way line of County Road He. 4033, and west and south along a line 50 feet south and east of and parallel to the south and east right-of-way lines of County Road No. 4043 to a point 50 feet south of the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4106 produced east; THENCE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of and parallel to the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4106, produced east to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of County :;cad No. 4048; THENCE south and west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the east and south right-of-way lines of County Road No. 4048 and the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4020 to a point 50 feet east of the present City Limit Line of Blue Mound; THENCE south, east, south, east, and south along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet east, north, east, north, and east of and parallel to the present City Limit Line of Blue Mound to a point 50 feet north of the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4001; THOICE east alongthe present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4001 to its intersection with the middle of Little Fossil Creek; THENCE southeasterly, down the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the middle of Little Fossil Creek, to its intersection with the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4001; THENCE east along the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4001 and County Road No. 4001 produced east to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of Sylvania Avenue (County Road No. 3060) produced north; THENCE south along the east right-of-way line of County Road No. 3060 produced north and of County Road No. 3060 to its intersection with the middle of Little Fossil Creek; THENCE southeaster-,_y, down the middle of Little Fossil Creek, to its intersection with the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the north line of the M. Johnson Survey; THE CE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the north line of the M. Johnson Survey, to a point 300 feet west of the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 3070; TF2NCE south along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 300 feet west of and parallel to the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 307O tD its intersection with the north line of the J. C. McComas Survey North; THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fo-Iyt Worth, the north line of the J. C. McComas Survey north to the place of beginning, and containing approximately 17.16 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance Nos. 3867, 4075, and 4295, heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith, this ordinance shall be and is hereby made cumulative. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be published-one time in a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. Section 4. If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions.of the ordinance. Section 5. That this ordinance shall become,effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publications, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
