AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 5691, HBR8T0-
FORS DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH ON DECEMBER 19, 1966t
PROVIDING THAT THE SIXTY FOOT PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
EXTENDING FROM WHITE SETTLEMENT ROAD TO BAILEY
AVENUE AND BEING ADJACENT AND PARALLEL TO THE
EAST LINE OF THE CRESTWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRACT
BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED1 PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND= REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HBRBWITHI AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALT. BECOME EFFECTIVE IX-
MEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 5691, heretofore duly passed and
adapted by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, be
and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION Z.
That all of the nifty foot strip dedicated to the public
which extends from White Settlement Road to Bailey Avenue
and lies adjacent and parallel to the east line of the Crest-
wood Blementary School Tract in Block 9, Crestwood Addition
to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the
same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as
a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character what-
ever.
SECTION 3.
That the fee to the land in said strip is hereby released
and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law.
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

pAIGE The City Council, on December 19, 1966, adopted Ordinance No. 5691 which
/ vacated an unnamed north-south street in Block B, Crestwood Addition,
rra as shown on the attached map. The Ordinance described said street as being a
fifty (50) foot public right-of-way, but according to the application and
all other documents in the Case File (V-66-46) it should have been described
as a sixty (60) foot public right-of-way. The Department of Law advises
that this discrepancy can be resolved by adoption of a correction ordinance
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the sixty foot
public right-of-way in Block B, Crestwood Addition.
