HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 50096-A2 CITY SECRETARY (MMTRACT N0. 500q Io-f r�- AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SECOND ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL FACILITY I I STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc., (Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 50096 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-28439, the 17th day of December, 2016, for a New Second Animal Care and Control Facility; and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the design services agreement for additional design services for a new Oncor Easement. NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article I -- Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows: (3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of a new Oncor Easement. The cost of this additional service is $3,000.00 plus $0.00 in reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc. Letter dated April 15, 2020, subject: "Change of Services Amendment no. 02 - ONCOR Electric Easement, CITY OF FORT WORTH SECOND ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL FACILITY. 2. Article II - Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows: "Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services described in Attachment "A". Bulla, AIA Title: Principal in Charge Date: 4/15/20 City of Fort Worth,Texas E'�� iin Standard Agreement for Professional Services AMENDMENT 01 Revision Date:3/20/2020 Page 2 of 2 L it L W II i Attachment"A" April 15, 2020 Change in Services Amendment No. 02- ONCOR Electric Easement CITY OF FORT WORTH SECOND ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL FACILITY This Additional Services Agreement is made as of the date above between PGAL(the "Architect")and the City of Fort Worth (the"City","Client"and"Owner")for the Second Animal Care&Control Facility(the"Project"). This Additional Services Agreement incorporates the additional project scope and services of the Architect described herein into the Agreement Between Client and Architect dated December 28, 20 17,for this project(hereinafter referred to as the "Original Agreement"). i.o ADDITIONAL PROJECT SCOPE The Project included the following scope: 1.1 Provide the required documentation to create an ONCOR Electric Easement on the property. 2.o ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES INCLUDED The following services are included in this Additional Services Agreement and will be provided by PGAL and our Civil Engineering consultant, RLG: 2.1 Coordinate with the Owner,Architect, Engineer and ONCOR to determine the configuration and dimensions of the proposed ONCOR Easement. 2.2 Prepare field notes (an exhibit and metes&bounds description)for an underground electrical line and transformer. 2.3 Place monuments in the field at each easement corner. Note: Monuments will be placed one time only. Replacement of monuments will be an additional service. 2.4 Submit three (3) signed and sealed exhibits with metes&bounds descriptions to ONCOR to attach to their easement language. 2.5 Easement will be filed at the county by ONCOR. 3.o EXCLUDED SERVICES The following services are not included in this Additional Services Agreement: 3.1 Not applicable 4.0 PROFESSIONAL FEES For the services described herein,the Client shall compensate the Architect as follows: 4.1 Fixed Fee (excluding Reimbursable Expenses): $3,000.00 5.o REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES Reimbursable Expenses shall be: 5.1 as described in the Original Agreement 6.0 MISCELLANEOUS 6.1 Unless otherwise stated herein,the terms and conditions of the Original Agreement shall prevail. 6.2 This Change in Service will be referenced and invoiced as"ONCOR Electric Easement".
