I.
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth, Texas, that the alley hereinafter de-
scribed has been closed for more than twenty-five years and
was in fact never opened and never used by the public and
that the abutting property owners have used and occupied
said alley and have erected structures thereon, and that
it is to the best interest of the public that said alley be
closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare and
the fee to the land in said alley conveyed to the abutting
property owners.
NOW, THEREFOR,
BE IT. ORDAINED BY THE C ITY C CUNC IL OF THE C ITY
OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION I.
That an alley ten feet wide lying between Lots one
(1) to Eighteen (18) Turner's Sub-division of Blocx One (1),
Oakiand Addition and Lots Seven (7)' to Fourteen (14) Block
One (1), dakiand Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as an aiiey or public thoroughfare of
any kind or character whatever.
SECTION II.
That the fee to the. Land in said alley be hereby
released and conveyed in equal parts to the abutting property
owners on said alley.
SECTION III.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repeated.
SECTION IV.
That this ordinance sball take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
