Googins and others who are the owners of Block No. 27 in North Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 63, page 149, record for deeds for Tarrant County, have petitioned the Board bf Commissioners to close and vacate the alley run- ning through the middle of a-ald LYeck of lan— -fromi�oith t;o South, which said alley 1s Ten feet wide, and WHEREAS, the said petitioners, the owners of said Block, as aforesaid, have agreed in said petition to hold the City of Fort Worth harmless and to pay all damages that may be sustained on account of the closing and vacating of said alley, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COL:AISSIONERS OF THE CITY .OF FORT WORTH. SECTION 1. That the alley Ten feet wide running North and South in Block 27 in North Fort Worth, according to the, -B1eA -reaQFded i-a volumo 63' paga 149- ran rd -for deeds for Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated and forever closed. SECTION 2. That this ordinance is passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners, upon the express agreement and understanding that J. B. Googins, J. S. Stanley and S. C. Cunningham, the owners of said Block 27, have agreed and obligated themselves to hold the City of Fort Worth harm- less, and to pay all damages to persons or property that may be occassioned by reason of the closing of the said alley in said Block 27, SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and b e iu force from and after its passage. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance was duly presedted and unanimously passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, at a regular session of said Board held Ootober 28th, A.
