ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND LIMITING TITE
TIME TO FORTY-FIVE MINUTES AND PRESCRIB-
ING THE MODE IN WHICH A VEHICLE NAY BE
PARKED ON S—M&aTR Bk�T`��N
MORTON STREET AND LAMAR STREET, DEFINING THE
LIMITS ON SUCH STREETS .TITHIN WHICH PARKING
IS PROHIBITED AND PROVIDING A =ENALTY FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION I
DEFINITIONS. Unless it appears from 'the
context that a different meaning is intended, the fol-
lowing words shall have the meanings attached to them
by this section:
(a) The term "curb" shall mean the edge of
a roadway or street marked, designated or otherwise com-
monly understood to be such.
(b) The term "vehicle" shall mean and include
any automobile, truck, or convenience of any kind or
character, and including a horse.
(c) The �t 1n' "t-5 p0q" as hereinabove used
means to stop, stand, remain or occupy a certain position
on any portion of the streets designated.
SECTION II
It shall be unlawful for the driver or owner
of any vehicle to permit the same to be parked, stand or
remain for a period of in excess of forty five minutes
on West Seventh Street between Throckmorton Street and
Lamar Street between the hours of 8 a. m. and 6:30 p. m.
except on Sunday in any place where the parking of vehicles
is permitted under the terms of this ordinance.
SECTION III
On that portion of West Seventh Street above

curb on each side of said street.
SECTION IV
Any person who- shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished
by a fine of not exceeding $100.00.
SECTION V
All ordinances in so- far as the same or por-
tions of the same shall be in conflict with this ordi-
nance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION VI
This ordinance is hereby declared to be cumu-
lative of all other ordinances regulating traffic on the
streets of the City of Fort ',orth except where same are
in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION VII
Should any section or part of a section of this
ordinance be declared to be invalid by any court of compe-
tent jurisdiction, such decision or judgment shall not
affect the remaining sections or parts of sections, which
shall continue to be in full force and effect.
SECTION VIII
This ordinance shall become effective as to
all streets and portions of streets herein recited from
and after its passage and five days publication as re-
quired by law.
