Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 10:39 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5m 2020, in City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Report of the City Manager-David Cooke,City Manager a. Changes to the City Council Agenda M&Cs 20-0290 and 20-0265 will be withdrawn from the Consent Agenda so that Council Member Jordan can recuse. M&Cs 20-0287 and 20-0289 will be continued for 30 days to June 9, 2020. b. Upcoming and Recent Events There were no announcements. Beach Street; From: "E" Neighborhood Commercial To: PD/D Planned Development for all uses in "D" High Density Multifamily with waivers to (MFD) Multifamily Development Submittal, parking, height and screening fence; site plan included 15.35 acres (Recommended for Approval by the Zoning Commission) (Continued from a Previous Meeting) Moving forward. 4. Update Related to COVID-19 Response and Recovery - COVID-19 Updates and Data- Chief Jim Davis - Reopening Plan- David Cooke, City Manager - Budget Update—David Cooke, City Manager - Culture and Tourism Fund Update—Michael Crum, Public Events - Convention Center Shelter Operations - Jay Chapa, City Manager's Office 5. Proposed Agreement with BRIT for Management of Botanic Garden - Dana Burghdoff, City Manager's Office Deputy City Manager, Dana Burghdoff, reviewed the proposed agreement with BRIT for the management of the Botanic Gardens. The agreement will be on the council's May 19, 2020, agenda for action and the transition will take place on October 1, 2020. 6. Presentation on Mary's Creek Water Reclamation Facility Discharge Permit— Chris Harder, Water Water Director Chris Harder provided a review of the Mary's Creek Water Reclamation Facility Discharge Permit and the next steps in the permitting process with TCEQ. 8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Members Shingleton and Moon - requested an update on the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to denials.
