AN ORDINANCE PM1ANENTLY CLOSING AND ABANDONING AS
A PUBLIC STREET, THAT CERTAIN STREET 50 FEET WIDE
LYING BE79FM BLOCKS 2 AND 3 OF EVANS PEARSON 1VEST-
WOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS, EXTENDING FROM THE WEST LINE OF
HARROLD STREET TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF THE ST. LOUIS,
SAN FRANCISCO & TEXAS RAILWAY COMPANY+S RIGHT-OF-WAY
IN SAID ADDITION; THAT CERTAIN ALLEY 15 FEET WIDE
LYING BETWEEN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF ST. LOUIS, SAN
FRANCISCO & TEXAS RAILWAY COMPANY AND BLOCKS 2 AND 3
OF EVANS PEARSON WESTWOOD ADDITION, EXTENDING FROM
THE SOUTH LINE OF KANSAS STREET TO THE NORTH LINE OF
DAKOTA STREET IN SAID CITY OF FORT WORTH, THAT CER-
TAIN ALLEY 11)^ FEET WIDE LYING IN BLOCK 2 OF EVANS
PEARSON WESTNDOD ADDITION TO FORT WORTH, TEXAS, EX-
TENDING FROM THE WEST LINE OF HARROLD STREET TO THE
EASTERLY LINE OF THE ST. LOUIS, SAN FRANCISCO & TEXAS
RAILWAY COMPANYtS RIGHT-OF-WAY IN SAID CITY; AND THAT
CERTAIN ALLEY LYING 7N BLOCK 3 OF EVANS PEARSON WEST-
WOOD ADDITION TO FORT WORTH, TEXAS, EXTENDING FROM THE
WEST LINE OF HARROLD STREET TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF THE
ST. LOUIS, SAN FRANCISCO & TEXAS RAILWAY CCMPANYtS
RIGHT-OF-WAY; FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, R. W. DIAL, the owner of Blocks 2 and 3 of Evans
Pearson Westwood Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, has applied for an ordinance forever closing and abandoning the
street and alleys in said Addition described in the caption hereof, and
whereas, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth after considering
said application has determined that said Street and Alleys above descri-
bed may be closed and abandoned as a public street and ways without injury
to the City of Fort Worth or the public generally.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
SECTION I.
That the street 50 feet wide lying between Blocks 2 and 3 of
Evans Pearson Westwood Addition to the City of Eort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, extending from the West line of Harrold Street in said Addition to

the Easterly line of the St. Louis, San Francisco & Texas Railway Com-
pany's right-of-way; the alley 15 feet wide lying between the right-of-
way of the St. Louis, San Francisco & Texas Railway Company and Blocks
2 and 3 of Evans Pearson Westwood Addition to the City of Fort North,
Tarrant County, Texas, extending from the South line of Kansas Street
to the North line of Dakota Street in saidAddition; the alley 15 feet
wide lying between Lots 1 and 2, and Lots 3, 4, and 5 in Block 2 of Evans
Pearson Westwood Addition to said City extending from the West line of
Harrold Street to the Easterly line of the St. Louis, San Francisco &
Texas Railway Company's right-of-way in said Addition, and the alley 15
feet wide lying between Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and Lots 6, 7, g, 9, 10
and 11, in Block 3 of said Evans Pearson Westwood Addition and extending
from the iYest line of Harrold Street to the Easterly line of the St.
Louis, San Francisco & Texas Railway Company's right-of-way in said Addi-
tion, be and the same are hereby vacated, closed and abandoned as a public
street and as alleys and all rights of the City of Fort Worth, Texap, and
the public therein are hereby declared to be ended and terminated.
SECTION II.
That title to the portion of the street and alleys hereby closed
shall revert to and become the property of the abutting land tuners accord-
ing to law.
SECTION III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
SECTION IT.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
