AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEX- ING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN AC- CORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 4o, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line in the southwest line of Bilglade Road, said point being also in the most easterly corner of Lot 1, Block 49, Westcliff Addition; Thence in a northeast direction along the present city limit line and along the southeasterly line of Block 46, West- cliff Addition, to a point where the present city limit line turns south; Thence south along the present city limit line to a point in the north line of Block 9, South Hills Addition; Thence west and southwest along the present city limit line and along the northerly line of Block 9, South Hills Addition, to a point in the most northerly corner of Lot 1, Block 23, South Hills Addition, said point being also in the southwest line of Bilglade Road; Thence in a northwesterly direction along the southwest line of Bilglade Road extended to the place of beginning, and contain,ing approximately 8 acres of land. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef- fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
