AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS FILED
BY TEE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR FOR THE IMPR0y M$NT
OF TILLAR STREE' AND VACNK STRUT IN THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TRW
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT NORTH, TESASi
SECTION 1
That the Public Works Director having on the 30th day of
December, 1958, filed with the City Council complete Specifications for the
improvement of Tillar Street, from the easterly line of Poch Street to the
westerly line of Vacak Street, known and designated as Unit No. 1; and Vacek
Street, from the northerly line of White Settlement Road to the southerly
line of Cullen Street, known and designated as Unit No. 2, the same be and are
hereby approved as the Specifications under which said work shall be done.
SECTION 2
That the City Secretary is hereby directed to advertise for
bids for said iWrovements in accordance with said Specifications, which
advertisement shall be inserted one or more times in the Fort Worth Star
Telegram, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Fort Worth, and
shall call for sealed bids for said work to be filed with the City Council
on or before the 27th day of January, 1959, at 10:O0 A.M.. upon which date
they shall be opened and read as prescribed by the City Charter; that the
first publication of said advertisement shall be not less than ten (10) days
before the date herein set for the opening of bids.
SECTION 3
That this-Ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage.
