AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3011, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUMDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRAM, INDUSTRY, RESIMNCE, OR OTHER. PURPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEM BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 3011; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described areas be altered, changed and amended as follows to frig AREAS FROM TO - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - No. 61-Z-6: hots 7 through 12, Block 9; Lots 7 through 12, Block 10; and Dots 7 through 12, Block 11, Seminary Hill Addition "B" �"C" (1900 thru 2100 blocks of Spurgeon) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - No. 61-Z-7: Lots 1 through 6, Block 25; Lots 1 through 6, Block 26; Lots 3 through 6, Block 27; Lots 4 through 6, Block 28; Lot 6, Block 29; in Original Town of .Handley; and those portions of South Street, Forest Street, Handley Drive, and alleys between said Blocks 25 and 26, and said Blocks 27 and 28, which were vacated by Fort Worth City Ordinance No. 4217, less R.Q.W. of Spur Highway No. 303; and all of the tract of land out of the most western north- west corner of Tract °A" of the Tess Electric Service Company Handley Plant Site lying between Spur Highway No. 303 and the north line of Lot 6, Block B, Lakeview Addition to Handley, not previously zoned "K" Heavy Industrial "B" "K" (6450 thru 6600 blocks Spur Hwy #303) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - No. 61-Z-8: The North 130 feet of Lot 5, Block 1; Z. The zoning regulations and districts, as herein established, have been made in accordance -A th a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals, and the general welfare of the community. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air; to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, parks and other public requirements. They have r been made with reasonable consideration, among other things, of the character of the district and its peculiar suitibility for the particular uses and with a view of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of land throughout the community. SECTION 3• This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting zoning and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinance except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 4. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the Court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five and No/100 Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars (3200.00) for each offense. Bach day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
