WORTH, TEX. ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEIRSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREKTH; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND SPECIFYING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXASt Section 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fart Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about 9 miles southeast from the Court House of Tarrant County, Texas, lying in and including all or part of the J. B. Renfro, R. C. Richey, E. L. Snider, J. THENCE south along a line parallel to and 667 feet west of the east line of Block 24, Shelby County School Land Survey to its inter- section with the south line of Block 24 of the Shelby County School Land Survey. THENCE east along the south line of Block 24 of the Shelby County School Land Survey to the Southeast corner of said Block. THENCE north along the east line of Block 24 of the Shelby County School Land Survey to its intersection with the present City Limit Line of the City of Everman. THENCE east, north, east, north, west, south, west, north, west, northwest, west, south, west, north and west to its intdr- section with the west line of Block 25 of the Shelby County School Land Survey. THENCE north along the west line of Blocks 25 and 26, Shelby County School Land Survey to the northwest corner of Block 26 of the Shelby County School Land Survey; a City Limit Line of the City of Forest Hills; THENCE along a City Limit Line of the City of Forest Hills, east, north, east, south, east, north and east, and continuing along said line produced east to its intersection with a City Limit Line of Kennedale, Texas; THENCE southeasterly and south along the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale to its intersection with the north line of Andrews Oaks Addition; THENCE west along the north line of Andrews Oaks Addition 400 feet to its northwest corner; THENCE south 89 Degrees - 38 Minutes west along the west lines of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Andrews Oaks Addition 500 feet to the southwest corner of said Addition; THENCE east along the south line of Andrews Oaks Addition 400 feet to its intersection with the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale; THENCE south and east along the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale to a point in the north line of the J. B. Renfro Survey, and continuing east along the north line of the J. B. Renfro Survey to its northeast corner, in the west line of the R. C. Richey Survey; THENCE north along the west line of the R. C. Richey Survey to the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale; THENCE east along the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale to the west right-of-gray line of County Road No. 2025; THENCE southerly along the westerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 2025 to its intersection with the northerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 2036 produced west; THENCE west along the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 2036 produced west to its intersection with the east line of the E. L. Snider Survey; THENCE south along the east line of the E. L. Snider Survey to its southeast corner; THENCE west along the south line of the E. L. Snider Survey, and continuing west along said line produced to its intersection with the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 2037; THENCE north along the west right-of-way line of Count Road No. 2037 to its intersection with the south line of Block 52 of Shelby County School Land Survey,- THENCE west along the south lines of Blocks 52 and 47 of the Shelby County School Land Survey and along said line produced to the intersection of said line with the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 2097; THENCE south along the west right-of-+say line of County Road No. 2097 to its intersection with the south line of Block 37 of the Shelby County School Land Survey; THENCE west along the south lines of Blocks 37, 34, 23, 20, 9, and 6 of the Shelby County School Land Survey, and continuing west along said line produced to its intersection with the west right- of-way line of County Road No. 1023; THENCE north along the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 1023 to its intersection with the present City of Fort Worth City Limit Line; THENCE east and north along the present City of Fort Worth City Limit Line to the place of beginning and containing approximate- ly 6.8 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby repeal every prior ordinance in conflict herewith and more particularly this ordinance expressly repeals Ordinance No* 4W8 heretofore adopted and passed on June 30, 19619 but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be published one time in a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XMII of the City Charter. Section h. If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason, held void, or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or wards, except as the same are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions of the ordinance. ` • a � rf s section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full farce and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) daps from the date of its publications, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
