The mild winter Fort Worth experienced resulted in an exceptionally short dormancy period for vegetation causing
the 2020 mowing season to begin in mid-January. Since that time, the weather continues to provide excellent
growing conditions for fast vegetation growth, including a record eleven consecutive days of rain followed by
unseasonable warm temperatures.
