The Church is convey- ing an easement to the City for a turn-around at the point where the alley will be closed. Closing the section of alley will permit the construction of an addition to the Church. Private utility companies and the Public Works, Traffic Engineering, Water, and Planning Departments do not object to closing the section of alley pro- vided a turn-around is constructed, and a permanent easement is retained for existing sanitary sewer facilities, and temporary easements are retained for other utility lines in the alley until relocated. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recommends adoption of an ordinance which has been prepared closing the section of alley as requested, subject to construction of the turn-around, and retention of easements for existing utility lines.
