AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL STREETS AND CER- TAIN EASEMENTS BETWEEN GRANBURY ROAD AND TRAIL LAKE DRIVE SOUTH OF THE TEXAS ELECTRIC SERVICE COMPANY RIGHT OF WAY AND NORTH OF BLOCK 1, DAN DANCIGER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following streets within the limits set forth and as shown on the plat of Wedgwood Addition recorded in Vol. 388-21, page 61, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and perm- anently vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: Wendel Drive from Wedgwood Drive to Wheaton Drive; Wolens Way from Wedgwood Drive to Trail Lake Drive; Wrigley Way (Winkler Way) from Wedgwood Drive to Trail Lake Drive; Walraven Circle from Wrigley Way to Texas Electric Service Company right of way; and Wheaton Drive from Block 1, Dan Danciger Addition, to the Texas Electric Service Company right of way. SECTION 2. That all easements for public utilities in Blocks 113 through 124 and 121-R through 122-R, Wedgwood Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in said Vol. 388-21, page 61, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as easements, save and except that easements are expressly reserved for utilities along the north lines of Blocks 113, 120, 121 and 121-R; the south lines of Blocks 116, 117 and 124; and the fifty-foot drainage easement between Blocks 116 and 117. SECTION 3. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said streets and easements above described is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. B CF.r FED The Essex Company, owner of adjoining property, has requested the vacation of VGHI, the streets and easements in a portion of the Wedgwood Addition, as shown on the attached map. Abandonment of the streets and easements will permit the "�'F N replatting of this section of Wedgwood Addition to conform with the existing zoning and permit compatible development of the property. The following is a list of the proposed street and easement vacations: 1) Wendel Drive - Wedgwood Drive to 'Wheaton Drive 2) Wolens Way - Wedgwood Drive to Trail Lake Drive 3) Wrigley Way (Winkler Way) - Wedgwood Drive to Trail Lake Drive 4) Walraven Circle - Wrigley Way to Texas Electric Service Conp any right-of-way 5) Wheaton Drive - Block 1, Dan Danciger Addition to TESCO right-of-way 6) All easements in Blocks 113 through 124 and 121-R through 122-R, Wedgwood Addition, except the easements along the north lines df Blocks 113, 120, 121 and 121-R; the south lines of Blocks 116, 117 and 124; and the 50-foot drain- age easement between Blocks 116 and 117. Private utility companies and affected City departments have reviewed the re- quest and do not object to the proposed vacations. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the proposed vacations in conjunction with its review of the replat of this area submitted by the property owner and recommends adoption of an ordin- ance that has been prepared vacating the streets and easements as proposed.
