Sufficient funds are available. Deviation from Bid Price: The under-run of .$7,714.20 was .caused primarily by the .fact that the 1,200 L.F. of 6" metal pipe sub-drain called for in the contract documents was not required for completion of this project. This resulted in a savings of $4,800.00. The remainder of the cost difference, $2,914.20 (slightly less than 3.42 -of the bid price), can be attributed to variations between quantities estimated in the contract documents and quantities actually measured and used at the job .site. Compliance with Specifications During testing on this project 13 corings were made with the following results: Exceeds Even with Under Specs but Below Specs Specs Within Tolerance Tolerance Paving 9 3 1 0 Sub-grade 6 7 0 0 JW s DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Final Payment - .Assessment Pavint, PAGE NUMBER 9/21/70 NUMBER at Two Locations on the .Southeast Side 2 or 2 FP-On the entire .project the average .thickness of the HMAC paving .is 7...19. .inches as -compared to the 7.00 .inches specified, and the average thickness of .the lime stablized sub-grade is 6.13 inches as compared.to the 6.00 inches specified.
