AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THE UTILITY EASEMENT ACROSS DOTS 1 AND 3
THROUGH 8, BLOCK 4, RIDGEVIEW ADDITION, A
WIDTH OF 10' AND A LENGTH OF APPROXIMATELY
727' ; RETAINING EASEMENTS THEREIN FOR EXISTING
UTILITIES; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS OR-
DINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described 10' utility easement
across Lots 1 and 3 through 8, Block 4, Ridgeview Addition
to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being a 10 foot wide strip of land situated in the J.
A. Bradford Survey, Abstract No. 198, Tarrant County,
Texas, and crossing lots 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Ridge-
view Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, as recorded in Volume 388-105, page 19, Tarrant
County Plat Records. Said 10 foot strip of land being
5 feet either side of the following described center
line;
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 4,
Ridgeview an Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 388-105, page 19,
Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE with the East line of Cumberland Road N
0 degrees 02 minutes W 32.21 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve to the left, whose radius point bears
S 89 degrees 58 minutes W, 137.82 feet;
THENCE continuing with the East line of said street
along said curve through a central angle of 18 degrees
08 minutes 55.0 feet to the point of beginning;
THENCE S 47 degrees 40 minutes E 517.0 feet to a point
5.0 feet northwest of the southeast lot line of Lot 8,
Block 4, of said Addition, said point being to the end of
the center line herein described. Save and except any
portion of the above described center line crossing;
a 15 foot utility easement crossing lots 1, 3 and 4,
Block 4 of said Addition, a 10 foot utility easement
situated on Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 4 of said Addition,
a 15 foot drainage easement between Lots 7 and 8,
Block 4 of said Addition. The total length of the
above described center line is approximately 727.0
feet.
be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as an easement for public utilities,
SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are reserved therein for any
and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described easement
is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are reserved
for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.
