Adopt the ordinance amending the Impact Fees for Water and Wastewater Facilities in the City Code, Chapter 35, "Water and Sewers," Article III, "Charges" for Water and Wastewater facilities. DISCUSSION: Section 395.452 of the Local Government Code requires that the City update its Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan and Impact Fees at least every five years and amend as necessary to reflect any changes in the Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan for water and wastewater facilities and the related Impact Fees. The City is further required to hold a public hearing to discuss the amendments to the Impact Fees. The Land Use Assumptions and the Capital Improvements Plan amendments, through ordinance, were approved at a public hearing by the City Council on March 24; 2049. The City Council should now adopt the ordinance attached amending the Impact Fees as necessary due to the changes to the Land Use Assumptions and the Capital Improvements Plan. The City hired RedOak Consulting, a division of Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., to prepare the amendments to the Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan and the Impact Fees through City Secretary Contract No. 37769. The amendments to the Impact Fee Schedules have been available far public inspection since Apri! 3, 2449, in the Fart Worth City Secretary's office and in the Water Department C}ffice.
