A Resolution
WHEREAS, the 14th Marine Division, United Stated Marine Corps , has been
involved during the past several years in the collection of toys for the
Toys for Tots Program; and
WHEREAS, the 14th Marine Division delivers the toys collected to several
locations in the Metroplex for further distribution to needy families; and
WHEREAS, the 14th Marine Division collected and delivered to the City of
Fort Worth over 6,000 toys for distribution to needy families ; and
WHEREAS, the 14th Marine Division brought joy and happiness to 4,071 boys
and girls during Christmas , 1981 , in the City of Fort Worth and other Metro-
plex locations ;
NOW BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Fort Worth City Council salutes and
applauds the 14th Marine Division, United States Marine Corps, for their
generosity and unselfish efforts which contributed to the enormous success
of the Toys for Tots Program.
