R E S O L U T I O N A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON FEBRUARY 12, 1980, AT 9:30 A.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 3011, WHICH IS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, That at 9:30 o'clock A.M., Tuesday, February 12, 1980, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, the Comprehensive Zoning Plan Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said hearing is to determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011 should be amended so that the zoning classification of the following area shall be changed as hereinafter specified. Z-80-003 West 140 feet of Tract 43, J. L. Purvis Survey (2401 Oakland Boulevard) Recommended from "CF" Community Facilities to "E" Commercial Z-80-004 Being a tract of land out of the E. Johnson Survey, Abstract No. 853, and the C. P. Madden Survey, Abstract No. 1012, City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the proposed centerline of Brentwood-Stair Road (60' R.O.W.) with the existing centerline of Cooke's Lane (50' R.O.W.); said point bearing N 0*15122" W a distance of 144.25 feet and N 89°44'38" E a distance of 25.00 feet from an iron rod found in the north line of the C. P. Madden Survey on the existing west line of Cooke's Lane; THENCE South 0015'22" East with the center of Cooke's Lane a distance of 173.92 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE South 13045'30" East a distance of 307.90 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE S 16047'30" East a distance of 17.66 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE South'45059' West with the center of an existing 10.00 foot sanitary sewer easement a distance of 288.65 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE North 66016'29" West a distance of 306.31 feet to a paint for a corner; THENCE North 0015'22" West a distance of 495.14 feet to a point for a corner on the proposed South line of Brentwood-Stair Road; THENCE North 11038'21" West a distance of 30.00 feet to a point for a corner on the said centerline of Brentwood-Stair Road in a curve to the left having a radius of 730.00 feet and a central angle of 1°10'47"; continued Z-80-004 cont'd -2- THENCE Easterly with the said centerline and curve to the left a distance of 15.03 feet to a point of reverse curve; said curve to the right having a radius of 1575.33 feet and a central angle of 12°33'46". THENCE Easterly with the said curve to the right a distance of 345.41 feet to the point of tangency; THENCE North 89044'38" East a distance of 60.00 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 6.16 acres of land. (SW Quadrant of Brentwood-Stair Road @ Cooke's Lane) Recommended from "CF" Community Facilities to "CR" Restricted Apartment Z-80-006 Lot 13, Block 13, Ryan Pruitt Subdivision (NW Corner Bowie @ Stuart Drive) Recommended from "B" Two-Family to "I" Light Industrial Z-80-007 Lot 8, Block 2/11 Fields Welch Addition Recommended from "G" Commercial to "F" Commercial `- Lots 9 and 10, Block 2/11 and Lots 15 and 16, Block 3/11, Fields Welch Addition (1200 Block Eighth Avenue @ Hurley) Recommended from "D" Apartment to "ER" Restricted Commercial That the proposed amendments and changes and this hearing will be held in accordance with the provisions of Article 1011-A--1O11K of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution when signed by the Mayor and published in the official newspaper of the City of Fort 'Worth, which is a paper of general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently requested to be in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building at the time hereinabove set forth to make any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this hearing may continue from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had a full opportunity to be heard.
