BE IT 010AINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT'adORTH, SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to'the City of Fort Worth is heraby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said terri- tort' being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort North city limits in the south line of Northeast 28th Street or Highway #183 and at the most westerly north- west corner of Haltom City city limits; Thence east along the south line of the said High- way #183 and al on trc city limit line of :ialtom City to a Point in the east line of Beach Street; Thence north along the east line of Beach Street and along the west line of Haltom City city limit line to a point east of the northeast corner of the J. C. ','cComas Survey North; Thence west to the northeast corner of said McCorias ,Survey; Thence west along the north line of the J. C. IscComas Survey North to a point in the southeasterly right of wavy line of the Texas & Pacific Transcontinental Railway Co. right of way; Thence in a southwesterly direction along the said southeasterly right of way line to a point in the west line of the J. C. tdlcComas Survey South, said survey line being in the Watauga Road, said road being the extension. of Sylvania Avenue to the north; Thence south along the said west line of the J. C. McComas Survey South to a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line; Thence east and south along the present City of Fort °north city limit line to the place of beginning, anct em- bracing, approximately 400 acres. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort 19orth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter 1aVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef- fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or- dui ncd.
