HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 742 EBSOLUTION FILE NO. A Resolute Supporting the construction of additional grade separations and interchanges on I.H. 30 in Fort Worth, Texas. WHEREAS, the lack of access to I.H. 30 (FW/D Turnpike) has delayed the development of portions of far east Fort Worth; WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transpor- tation has agreed to allow the construction of additional access to I.H. 30; WHEREAS, construction of additional access will improve traffic flow and aid in the development of the area; WHEREAS, the improved traffic flow will benefit the people and businesses on the east side; WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has entered into an agreement with the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation for the construction of additional access; and WHEREAS, a public hearing is scheduled to be held on October 23, 1980:. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council, City of Fort Worth Texas: 1. That the City Council of the City of Fort Worth wholeheartedly endorses and supports the con- struction of grade separations and interchanges on I.H. 30 at Bentley Village Parkway and at Cooks Lane; 2. That the City Manager and his designated repre- sentatives are authorized to represent the City Council of the City of Fort Worth at any and all public hearings and meetings concerning this matter, to transmit this resolution and to express the intent of the City Council. j O N LI-F CITY OF FORT WORTH
