AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE PLAT AND DEDICATION OF
DUD'S MEADOW VIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH WITH CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE II,II4E-
DIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the plat and dedication dated December 19, 1947, of Duke's
iieadow View Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
as recorded in Volume 1964 at Page 408, of the Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, and described by metes and bounds as follows:
A part of the U. Wuthrick Survey in Tarrant
County, Texas,
Beginning at a point in the west line of County
Road No. 2047, said point being 9 varas west from
the northeast corner of the U. Wuthricl Survey;
THENCE west with the north line of said survey
475 varas to a point for corner;
THENCE south 744 varas to a point for corner;
THENCE east 475 varas to a point in the west
line of said County Road No. 2047;
THENCE north with said west line of road 744
varas to the place of beginning,
be, and it is hereby, vacated and abandoned and reverted to acreage; provided,
however, that that portion of Walker Street lying within the right of way of
proposed State Highway Loop 217 shall not be vacated, closed or abandoned, and
provided further that the existing eight foot easement lying two hundred feet
north of and parallel to the south line of said addition shall not be closed,
stated or abandoned.

That the fee to all streets and easements in said Addition shall
revert to the adjoining property owners, save and except that portion of
Walker Street and the eight foot utility easement heretofore reserved to
the public.

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
That this ordinance shall tale effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
