CITY SECR 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort
Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral
part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County,
Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows;
BEING a tract of land about 14 miles south of the Court House of
Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the
G. H. Hamilton, J. M. Robinson, J. E. Phillips, G. B. Stone, J. Martin,
J. Steele, Sarah Gray, A. Lee, J. M. Zamprano, D. Pool, J. B. Keer,
T. Stephens, M. E. Cannon, Wm. H. Moneford, W. B. Stout, J. B. Boydston,
N. Nichols, D. Gregory, J. Rendon., Wash Davidson, and H. G. Catlett
Surveys;
THENCE north along the west right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No.
81, South (Interstate Hwy. I-35W) to its intersection with the present
City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the south right-of-way line
of County Road No. 1078;
THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
Worth, the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1078 to the
place of beginning and containing approximately 7.1 square miles.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in con-
flict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance
No. 3838, heietofore adopted and passed on May 16, 1958, but as to all other
ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordi-
nance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section
40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
Section 4.
If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordi-
nance is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining
sections, subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same
are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions of the ordinance.
