HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 39034-A2 (2)AMENDMENT NO. 2 (No M&C Needed) COUNTY OF TARRANT S WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and DeOtte Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 39034, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-23711 on the 11th day of August 2009 in the amount of $111,754.00; and which was subsequently revised by Amendment Number 1 administratively authorized on 3 August, 2010 ($2,750.00) WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project. 2005 CIP Contract 5A; Christine Avenue, Christine Court, Quinn Street, Project No. 01265 WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract. 1. Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in 2011, a copy of which is attached cost to City for the additional Engineer total $4,600.00. Subsequent to the preparation of those documents, the City's Standard Specifications were altered. DeOtte, Inc. has been requested to revise the construction specifications to meet the City's new standard. The following features of work are required to fulfill this request: 1. Conduct detailed review of new specifications 2. Prepare new specifications for bidding 3. Revise construction plan references from existing specifications to new 4. Revise and re -calculate bid quantities to match new bid form and bid items The total effort for this revision is approximately 40 hours of project engineer and 40 hours of design technician.
