AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO TIM
CITY OF FORT WORTH: PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE
BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN
SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 4o, CHAPTER aVIII OF TI;E CITY CIiL=R:
AND PRESCRIBING Ali EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF !'ORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of
port Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits ana made
an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in
Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by :,fetes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the present City of Fort
Worth city limit line at its intersection with the
south line of the H. Dikeman Survey;
THENCE east along the south lines of the H. Dikeman,
J. A. Winebrenner, G. W. Miller and J. B. Pic Gee Surveys
to the east line of State Fare: to Market Road No. 1220;
THENCE northerly along the east line of State Faun
to3 rket Road No. 1220, with its meanders, to its inter-
section with the south line of County Road No. 4126 pro-
duced east;
TIENCE westerly to and along the south line of County
Road No. 4126 to its intersection with the nort ?easterly
line of County Road No. 4030, and continuing southwesterly
along said line of County Road No. 4126 produced to its
intersection with the present City of Fort Worth city limit
line;
THENCE southerly, then westerly, then easterly, then
southerly, then northerly, then easterly, then southerly,
them easterly, then northerly, then easterly, then southerly
along the present City of Fort Worth city limit line through
the C. A. Kuykendall,.W. W. Warnell and H. Dikeman Surveys
to the place of beginning, and containing approximately 3.8
square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press,
a gaily newspaper published in the City of "Fort Worth, in accordance with the
provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall be and become effective and be in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
