HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 40571-A1AMENDMENT NO, 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR PARKING BOOTHS ELECTRICAL DESIGN FOR THE WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL COMPLEX STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT E CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. - t\1 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Baird, Hampton and Brown, Inc. (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 40571 (the Contract) on the 19th day of July, 2010; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the Parking booths Electrical Design for the Will Rogers Memorial Complex project; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to terminate this agreement at the Design Development stage; and NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the Contract: Article I, of the Agreement is amended to terminate this agreement at the Design Development stage for a total design fee of $3,250.00 as specified in the letter from the Engineer dated November 19, 2010, attached hereto as Attachment A. 2. Article II, of the Agreement is amended to terminate this agreement at the Design Development stage for a total design fee of $3,250.00 as specified in Attachment A. 3. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. We appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you on this projeei but for the convenience of the City, and as discussed with Mr. Dalton Murayama on November 16, 2010, we request termination of this contract. We have completed the project to the design development stage for which we have invoiced and been paid $39250.00. Balyd, Hampton & Brown, Inc. will provide the construction documents and construction administration efforts to complete the scope of work described in this contract as a sub- contractor to Dunaway Associates under a new and separate contract Please call me or Mr. Murayama if you have any questions or concerns.
