Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fcrt Worth
is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part
cf said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas,
and being described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about seven miles north of the Courthouse of
Tarrant County, Texas, and- lying in the A. F. Albright Survey, being more
fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limit Line of the City of
Fort Worth, 50 feet south of the south line of the J. Walker Survey, the
present city limit of Saginaw, and 50 feet west of the west line of the Syl
Hall Tract, as said tract is mentioned in Ordinance No. 4295 of the City
cf Fort Worth;
THENCE south 0020' east along the present City Limit Line of the City
of Fort Worth, 2650 feet to a point 50 feet north of the north right -of-
way line of County Road No. 4125;
THQEXE west along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
Worth, 50 feet north of the north right -of -way line of County Road No.
1,125 tc a point 50 feet west of the west line of the Ted Morris Tract,
produced south, said Morris tract being as conveyed in the deed recorded
in Volume 1682, page 480 of the Tarrant County Deed Records;
TI XH: north along a line 50 feet west of and parallel to the west
line of said Morris Tract produced south, to its intersection with the
present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, 50 feet south of the
south line of J. Walker Survey;
TTIENCE EAST along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth,
50 feet south of and parallel to the south line of the J. Walker Survey to
the place of beginning and containing approximately .218 square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict
herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 4295,
heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or
sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and
is hereby made cumulative.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall be published'one time in a daily newspaper published
in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter
XXVIII of the City Charter.
Section 4.
If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance
is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections., subsections,
clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and
indispensable to the remaining portions of the ordinance.
Section 5.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon
its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the
date of its publications, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
