HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 41271-A4 (2)CB'ijY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. �(PZ AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES EAST MULTI -PURPOSE FACILITY AT THE WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL CENTER STATE OF TEXAS CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 41271 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C- 24664, the 14th day of December, 2010; and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect as part of the design services agreement for additional design services. NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article 1.1, SECTION 1 -- SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, the following paragraphs are added to read as follows: Provide additional design services for the design and of various items. 1. Construction Administration Services for the addition of the East Multi --Purpose Parking Lot Facility Adjacent to East Equestrian Facility to the scope of work for the Equestrian Multipurpose Center. The cost of these additional services is $7,416.00. The scope of services is described more fully in the Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford letter dated March 23, 2012, subject: Additional Construction Administration Services — Project No. 07015-08, East Multi - Purpose Parking Lot Facility Adjacent to East Equestrian Facility which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part of this agreement. 2. Paragraph 1 of SECTION V - COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows: "The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of $450,999.00 plus up to $9,000.00 in reimbursable expenses. " 3. All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. (The remainder of this page is intentionally left blank.) The Contract (No. 41271), dated 12-14-2010, Section IV, states that "If authorized in writing by the City, Architect shall furnish or obtain from others special services necessary to complete the Projects. These special services are not included as part of the Basic Services outlined in Section I — Services of the Architect and Attachment "A" DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES Under separate agreement with the City of Fort Worth, Dunaway has prepared construction documents for the East Multi -Purpose Parking Lot Facility located north of the Richardson Bass Building, This additional services proposal is for Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford's construction administration services for the construction phase of this project. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work includes a 1) site inspections 2) owner/contractor/architect/consultant meetings; 3) administration of RFIs related to the East Multi -Purpose Parking Lot Facility; and 4) issuance of an ASI to the general contractor. • COMPENSATION Total compensation for additional professional services related to the above -noted scope of work is a lump sum fee of $7,416 as detailed in the attached document. No additional compensation beyond the amount stated above is anticipated. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
