(Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 41636, (tho Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C�24750 on the 1st day of Marne., 2011; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: Water and San i to y Sewer Replacement Contract 2009, WSMH? WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised P maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through db9 r duly F9su ekd�zkr�4 ,d�®�A -EA ab e ce, vP�ai enter intoto the following agreement which amends the Contract: 10 Article I of the Contrant is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated December 12, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer total $36,209.00 (water $10,596.00; Sewer: $25,613.00). 2. Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum feo to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $336,O19OO. 1 P12: 1 IN OFFICIAL RECORD CITY SECRETARY Ft WORTH, TX 3. (BGE) has prepared the enclosed fee proposal for the additional scope of services including the following: • Water and Sanitary Sewer Line Extension Design • Detailed Traffic Control Plans The Standard Agreement for Engineering Services for this project includes the scope outlined in the conceptual design report. The proposed $36 209 for these services was determined based on the time estimated to complete at the hourly rates outlined in the STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES. This includes $12,235 for M/WBE sub consultants resulting in approximately 33.8% M/WBE participation for this amendment. The breakdown of the proposed fee for additional services is as follows: $ 12,235 $ 23.974 $ 36,209 (Water Cost - $3,600, Sewer Cost - $8,875) - Gorrondona & Associates Inc. (surveying) (Water Cost - $7,236, Sewer Cost - $16,738) — BGE (engineering) This proposed amendment increases the total contract amount summarized below.
