AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT MCPHE'RSON STREET LYING AND BEING
BETWEEN LOT 11, BLOCK 13, AND LOT 1, BLOCK 11, FRISCO RAILROAD
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS,
FROM LUBBOCK AVENUE WEST TO THE ALLEY, BE VACATED, ABANDONED
AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of McPherson Street be and the
same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or
public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever:
McPherson Street lying and being between Lot 11, Block 13,
and Lot 1, Block 11, Frisco Railroad Addition to the City
of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from Lubbock Avenue
west to the alley.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will re-
vert to the adjacent owners as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
